TSU Administration of Justice – Comprehensive Criminal Justice Education

The Department of Administration of Justice at Texas Southern University offers a broad range of online and on-campus courses designed to provide students with a solid foundation in criminal justice and criminology. Our curriculum covers law enforcement, corrections, courts, and criminal behavior, including topics such as drug and gang warfare, white-collar crime, cybercrime, legal ethics, and forensics.

Students can pursue a major or minor in Administration of Justice or specialize with our Forensic Science Minor, supported by a state-of-the-art Forensic Science Learning Lab equipped to rival state and federal labs. Our nationally recognized faculty, holding diverse doctorates, regularly publish research and collaborate with agencies like the Houston Police Department and Brazoria County Department of Probation and Parole.

With expertise in juvenile crime, racial justice, domestic violence, DWI courts, prisoner reentry, terrorism, and community corrections, our faculty have secured state and national grants to advance research and training.

TSU’s Administration of Justice Department provides a supportive learning environment at a renowned HBCU institution. We offer Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees, including an Executive Master’s (EMAJ) program requiring five years of professional experience with no GRE requirement. Our Doctorate in Administration of Justice (Ph.D.) prepares graduates for careers in academia and criminal justice leadership.
